Answers:
1. My mill knee does not have 9 teeth
Contact
Ed Holdgate
with details about your mill knee layout
because we may be able to create a custom knee
lift adapter for you.
2. What is the Knee Lift Adapter made from?
The standard model is made from
cold rolled steel, but
contact
Ed Holdgate
to discuss other possible custom materials.
3 What are the mechanical details?
Holdgate Enterprises is flexible, so contact
Ed Holdgate
with any
your questions or requests for
custom modifications. To use the
"Standard Knee Lift" your mill
crank shaft diameter must
be 0.625"
(5/8") to fit. I bored it out to 0.6315"
to fit a 16mm shaft
(0.6299 also). The
Standard Knee Lift Adapter has 9 slots. The
shank fits any drill chuck that
will accept 1/2" or larger drill bit.
The Knee Lift Adapter shank is
also hex milled to accept a 7/16"
socket. Use
then with a Hex Drill Socket Driver (per photo of
the Harbor Freight Set).
OAL is 3.124 and Max Diameter
is 1.600".
Again, contact
Ed Holdgate
with questions or
inquiries about custom
applications.
